Central Heating Motorised Valve

Central Heating Motorised Valve

The central heating motorised valve essentially functions as an electrically controlled switching device regulating water flow within pipelines. By transmitting electrical signals to remotely control the valve's opening and closing, and modulating the flow of hot and cold water, it enables intelligent centralised heating management across different zones. This automation facilitates automated temperature regulation.

Working Principle

Smart HVAC valves are intelligent devices used for remotely controlling the flow of hot and cold water within central heating pipe systems. Typically connected to heating pipes, they regulate whether hot water flows into radiators or hot water tanks.

1. Activation Control Signal

When the thermostat or controller issues a low-temperature signal—such as when the current room temperature falls below the original setpoint—the electric actuator receives this low-temperature signal and automatically opens the valve.

When the temperature returns to the original setpoint or further heating is no longer required, signal transmission ceases and the valve automatically closes.

2. Electric Actuator Drive Unit

An electric actuator is typically mounted on the valve body to control valve operation.

The motor drives the valve stem via a gearbox to open or close the valve.

3. Integration with System Components

The central heating motorised valve can operate in conjunction with boilers, heat pumps, thermostats and other components. When the valve opens, the boiler activates and commences heating, delivering efficient and energy-saving performance.

Intelligent management enables prepaid management, and can be integrated with control panels, thermostats and other devices to achieve automated control.

2. Data Storage

Enables the storage of smart HVAC valve data and its transmission to administrators for intelligent management.

3. Energy-efficient and highly effective

Precisely controls six aspects of hot and cold water, supplying heat only to areas requiring it for enhanced energy savings.

4. Unique online billing system

Facilitates communication between stations, enabling card production and data retrieval

5. Simple maintenance

Regular self-checks to prevent valve corrosion

6. Intelligent Display Function

Purchase volume, consumption volume, and remaining volume can be displayed on the LCD screen, allowing users to check remaining and consumed quantities at any time.

7. Remote Control

M-BUS remote control valves comply with the ‘188 Protocol Standard’. TF-V models support LORA, NB-IoT and wireless transmission.

8. Wide Range of Applications

Suitable for HVAC systems in residential properties, commercial buildings, educational institutions, hotels and other public facilities, as well as for controlling district heating systems.
