How to control Wi-Fi smart valves via mobile App or computers

It enables remote adjustment of valve angles and scheduled opening/closing functions.By configuring network access and connecting to Wi-Fi, the smart valve can be controlled via an application on a mobile device. 1. Mobile App Control

 

Next, switch on your mobile's Bluetooth and open the Tuya Smart Life app. Tap the “Add Device” button in the top-right corner; the app will automatically scan for and display available devices. Tap the device icon shown in the app, select your home Wi-Fi network, then enter the password to complete the connection. The pairing process is remarkably swift.

A single mobile device can connect to multiple Wi-Fi smart ball valves. All successfully connected valves will appear on the application's home screen. A power icon will be displayed beside each device. Tap to open or close the corresponding valve. Operation is straightforward.

2. Computer Control

Should you require more advanced management and control features, the computer platform is your optimal choice. First, log in to the Tuya Developer Platform. Within ‘Cloud Projects’, locate your project and navigate sequentially through “Devices” → ‘Link Application Accounts’ → ‘Add Application Account’. A QR code will then appear on the screen. Please scan this QR code using the Smart Life app to synchronise all connected devices to the computer platform.

Use your Smart Life App to scan this QR code, which will sync all your connected devices to the computer platform. After the devices are synced, click "All Devices" → "Debug Device" on the computer platform.

Once on the debugging page, find the ball valve you want to control, click "Device Debugging," select "Switch," and send the instruction to remotely open or close the valve. Please note: the use of this Tuya platform is not permanently free, there are time limits on its usage.
