CWX-60P are highly energy-efficient, consuming power only during the opening and closing process, which typically takes 6-8 seconds. Unlike solenoid valves, which require continuous energy to maintain their position, motorized ball valves remain in place with low power once fully opened or closed, eliminating the risk of overheating. However, they are not suitable for applications requiring rapid opening and closing, where solenoid valves are typically preferred.
The 2-wire auto-return model is designed for fail-safe operation. It changes state when powered and returns to default on power loss, ensuring fail-safe operation.
